Kiana Paletine has spent her entire life training to be Amarra’s next High Druid. Weary of the political games and eager to learn more of the world she aims to help, she sets off to find her wayward sister with the hope of roping her into an adventure. Beyond the safety of her forest home, Kiana learns that a malevolent race of telepaths known as the Deep Ones have been kidnapping and killing druids in the city her sister now calls home. Not only that, they have in their possession a long-lost druidic artifact that holds the key to an ancient and fiercely guarded secret.

 

Calling on her two closest friends for help, Kiana sets her sights on the lost and frigid home of the Ice Druids, where she hopes to learn just what the Deep Ones are up to. As the companions trek their way across the continent, dangers they’ve only heard whispers of in bedtime stories threaten from all sides.
